Asteroid is comprised of four distinct brands – namely, Asteroid Mechanical Services, AEMS Service Company, ServicePlus, and StandBy Power.
Asteroid Mechanical Services was established in October 2017 as a franchisee of the ABM Franchising Group, an operating unit of ABM (NYSE: ABM) that delivers a system of comprehensive mechanical services and preventative maintenance solutions to commercial clients.
AEMS Service Company was established in 1979 as an energy management systems provider and over time has built a full suite of HVAC and plumbing capabilities. AEMS has a core focus on commercial systems and has a deep understanding of the condo / HOA market.
ServicePlus was established in 1992 as an HVAC systems contractor with a specialty focus on New Jersey’s Clean Energy program. ServicePlus has a core focus on high efficiency residential systems.
StandBy Power was established in 2000 as an emergency backup generator services contractor and has installed residential and commercial generators for customers in New Jersey and surrounding areas ever since.
